Alpe’s Genepy “Herbetet” is named after the Herbetet Peak of the mountain Grand Paradiso, located in the Graian Alps between the Aosta Valley and Piedmont. At these high elevations, wormwood grows in abundance, providing Alpe’s herbal liqueur with its classic flavor and color. Serve as a digestivo or use as a cocktailing component.

Herbal liqueur produced by Distilleria Alpe in Hone, Italy, in the Valle D’Aosta. Featured botanicals include the wormwood species Artemisia genipi and Artemisia mutellina, oregano, mint, and cinnamon. Base of neutral grain distillate distilled from wheat, sweetened using sugar beet sugar. Earthy aromas of genepy, mint, clove, and lemon peel precede a rooty and herbaceous palate of marjoram, sandalwood, and you guessed it—more genepy, closing with a warming finish of pine, cinnamon, and ripe berries 49% ABV.
