Plantation has released this intriguing 2007 vintage limited edition rum. From Demerara Distillers in Guyana, this blend of column and pot still rums aged for 13 years in bourbon casks, before crossing the ocean to France, to age for a further two years in Ferrand cognac casks. A cross-continental treat this one!
This limited edition rum was distilled from molasses in 2007, and aged in a tropical climate for thirteen years, and then a temperate one for a further two. The first round of ageing was done in bourbon casks; the second was done in Ferrand casks.
