Great Beaujolais, Gamay from the South of Burgundy, is one of lifeâs true pleasures. Light, fresh and dynamic, itâs a region we reach for all the time as a perfect start to any meal or a lifted wine to pair with truly any dish or moment.
They discovered the beautiful wines of SylvĂšre Trichard at SĂLĂNĂ on our last trip in the Before Timesâąïž (Jan 2020 wow) and instantly fell in love with the perfumed, savoury style. After interning at Savoieâs famed Belluard and Beaujolaisâs great Lapalu, Sylvere Trichard began his small winery with farmer and friend Elodie Bouvard in 2012. In his tiny hometown of Blace, they organically farm 4 hectares of grapes and vegetables harkening back to the mixed agriculture of the past. Vibrant, dynamic wines of place in Ontario about once a year.
